SMV-420/430. Technical description

The detector is designed to detect fires accompanied by electromagnetic radiation of a flame or smoldering source in closed rooms of various buildings and structures, as well as on river and sea vessels and industrial facilities where explosive mixtures of flammable gases or vapors may be present with air.

It is an automatic stationary system of continuous operation and performs the following functions (depending on the design and availability of additional components):

• continuous measurement of the concentration of explosive gases and vapors in process gas media;
• continuous measurement of the concentration of harmful substances and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in process gas media;
• continuous measurement of oxygen concentration, including low concentrations, in process gas media;
• output of signals when the maximum permissible concentrations of combustible gases and vapors are reached;
• output of signals when the maximum permissible concentrations of harmful toxic substances and oxygen are reached;
• control (on/off) of actuators, technological equipment of the control object;
• notification of personnel about an emergency situation;
• storage of information about the concentration of the measured components, its processing and display;
• transfer of information to PCs and top-level controllers.
